ACTING MATERIALS

The acting audition pieces were chosen for their variety and difficulty. Brief character backgrounds are provided for each role found below; it would benefit you to do outside research on the specific behavior and emotion of the character you are embodying. 

 

Keep in mind your overall portrayal of the character through blocking, gestures, and facial expressions. If you audition for a lead role, then you MUST have your piece memorized; otherwise, it is acceptable to use your material during the audition.
